Modern Home Tour

Today I went on the Madison Modern Home Tour.

This was the first year the tour took place in Madison, but I think it is going to be an annual event. Proceeds benefited the Madison Museum of Contemporary Art. My take-aways from today’s tour include:

1. If your backsplash can only line up with your cupboards or your counter top, they should probably line up with your cupboards.

2. You don’t see many Buick drivers taking place in the modern home tour. It’s definitely more of a Volvo crowd.

3. Pianos are a modern home must-have. Who knew?

4. I guess it might be nice to get a bamboo tissue box cover to complete my bamboo bathroom accessories collection.
